报告题目：Beyond genes: Lipid helps membrane protein fold into proper shape
William Dowhan completed his Ph.D. in University of California, Berkeley in 1969. After postdoctoral studies at Harvard University, he joined the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas, Houston Medical School. For many years he has been studying the structure, function, and biogenesis of biological membranes in microorganisms, using a combined molecular genetic and biochemical approach.
